We are delighted to share an exciting milestone in the journey towards opening Malling Grange, our newest care home.
Malling Grange achieved Practical Completion on 25 September, bringing us one step closer to welcoming existing residents and staff from Pilgrims View, and other new residents, into our beautiful new home designed to support comfort, independence and wellbeing.
This achievement is the result of years of dedication, collaboration and shared commitment with our thanks going to the project team from Barcroft Estates, Lawrence Baker, Fed 3 Projects and Lawson Queay who worked closely with Avante to bring this vision to life. Jason Tucker, Contracts Manager at Lawrence Baker is seen here handing over the keys to a delighted Jo Hartnup, Avante’s Home Manager for Malling Grange.
The interior fit-out now gets underway meaning we are entering the final phase of preparations and looking forward to opening our doors in the months ahead.
A special thank you goes to Chris Francis, Director of Property and Development, and his team for their expertise and commitment throughout the project. We would also like to recognise Jo Hartnup, Home Manager, and Claire Bright, Deputy Manager, at Pilgrims View, whose hard work and dedication have helped us reach this important milestone.
At Avante Care & Support, we believe that great care starts with great communities, and Malling Grange is already a wonderful example of what can be achieved when people come together with a shared purpose.
We look forward to sharing more updates as we prepare to welcome residents to their new home.
