Our Respite Care Approach

We prioritise a person-centred approach to our respite care service, supporting residents in short-term care.

We understand some of the challenges families can face when caring for an older person or someone with dementia. Our respite care service helps families have a break while we care for their loved ones.

Avante Care & Support has provided respite care for over 30 years. We offer every respite resident the same benefits as long-term residents, championing the ‘everyone matters’ ethos. We ensure everyone staying with us can thrive and have a fulfilling experience, even in the short term.

Respite Care Environment

Avante Care & Support creates enriching environments for respite residents to feel comfortable in the short term, and if they return for another stay. We aim for our respite residents to feel at home in our care home communities, encouraging them to connect and socialise.

Our respite care service includes modern facilities, delicious menus, daily activity programmes and social events. Residents can also take advantage of day trips and entertainment, and build relationships with other residents and our team members.
