We offer day trips to explore the local area and exciting attractions in the community. Day trips allow residents and service users to stay connected, see new sights and have unique experiences. Trips can include historic landmarks, beaches and countryside areas.
We provide a daily activities programme where residents enjoy ongoing entertainment and learn new skills, such as gardening, art, music, games or socialising.
At our care homes residents can plant or care for the shrubbery and plants in our garden, providing independence and the opportunity to be outside in nature.
We provide music and dance across our care homes with classes, or visit events that help connect residents or service users with the power that music and dance can bring.
Residents can enjoy a wide selection of board games, whether playing independently, with a friend or as part of a group. Our games offer a fun and relaxed way to socialise, stay engaged and enjoy some friendly competition.
At our care homes, residents can channel their creativity with arts and crafts. We offer classes as part of the daily programme, or residents can enjoy arts and crafts independently, such as painting, drawing, sewing or crafting.
We embrace innovation and new technology to enhance the care and support we provide. From acoustic monitoring and interactive dementia technology to digital solutions that help residents stay connected, we continue to explore new ways to improve wellbeing, independence and everyday life.

Community support brings The Willows closer to its fundraising goal
The Willows Day Care Centre in Sittingbourne is one step closer to purchasing a new interactive projector, thanks to fantastic support from the local community.
The Rotary Club of Sittingbourne has donated £250 towards the campaign, with Day Care Officer Jeannette Spooner attending a special presentation evening to receive a certificate and share more about the important work of The Willows.
Jeannette was also invited to Rotary Radio to talk about the fundraising campaign and how the new projector will provide engaging games, puzzles and interactive experiences for those who attend the centre.
With an incredible £3,288.62 raised so far, The Willows is now just £411.38 away from its goal!

20 Years of Care, Community & Legacy at Northbourne Court!
On 20th August, residents, families, colleagues and members of the wider community came together in Sidcup to celebrate a very special milestone - 20 wonderful years of Northbourne Court Care Home!
The celebration was full of live entertainment, dancing, games, delicious food and a raffle - with plenty of laughter, smiles and warmth throughout the day.
We were deeply honoured to welcome Lady Northbourne, after whom our home is proudly named. Her 24 years of visionary leadership helped shape Northbourne Court into the warm, welcoming community it is today. We were also delighted to be joined by the Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayoress of Bexley.
For two decades, Northbourne Court has been creating a community where people can live vibrant, fulfilling lives, with specialist dementia, residential and nursing care at the heart of what we do.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us, supported us and helped make our 20th-anniversary celebration so unforgettable. Here’s to the memories we’ve made and the many more still to come!

A fantastic fundraising challenge in support of Parkview Care Home.
Matthew Collins, whose dad Mick has been a resident at Parkview Care Home since January 2023, is taking on the London to Brighton Cycle Ride to raise funds for the home’s social and activities team.
On Sunday 13th September, Matthew will cycle 55 miles from London to Brighton, plus an additional 10 miles to reach the starting point in Clapham.
Matthew and his family have seen first-hand the difference that activities and outings can make to life at Parkview. From trips to local parks and restaurants to boat trips, football matches and days out in London, these experiences give residents opportunities to get out and about, spend time together and enjoy something different.
