The Willow Day Centre provides a safe, welcoming and engaging environment where older people and those living with dementia can enjoy companionship, meaningful activities and personalised support throughout the day.
A welcoming place to spend the day
At The Willows, we believe day care should be about more than support. Our friendly and experienced team creates a warm environment where people can build friendships, enjoy meaningful activities and feel part of a community, while families have peace of mind knowing their loved one is well supported.
Located on the beautiful grounds of Court Regis Care Home in Sittingbourne, our centre is open Monday to Friday, 9am – 4pm, offering support for older people and those living with dementia.

Respite for Families & Carers
Flexible day care that gives families and carers valuable time to rest, work or manage other commitments, while their loved one enjoys a safe, supportive and engaging day at The Willow.
Partnerships & Referrals
We work closely with local professionals and services to help individuals access the right support. We welcome referrals from Social Services, Mental Health Teams, GPs and families.

We encourage families to get involved and enjoy special moments alongside their loved ones. Regular activities and events also provide opportunities for The Willows and Court Regis residents to connect, building friendships and creating a strong sense of community.

It was so lovely to see everyone at the Willows Summer Get-Together this afternoon! We enjoyed wonderful company, good music, plenty of laughter and, of course, some delicious cake!
A huge thank you to Lynn for making the butterfly cakes and Rock cakes — they were absolutely delicious!
And a big thank you to Phil & Den for entertaining us with fantastic music from the 50s, 60s and 70s. There were plenty of familiar tunes to enjoy and lots of happy memories along the way.
Our raffle raised another £50 for our Willows fund, so all in all, it’s been a very successful and enjoyable day!
We’d also like to say a huge thank you to everyone who stayed behind to help clear up and move the tables and chairs. Your help was very much appreciated.
FAB FRIDAY
Today at The Willows we enjoyed another lovely day filled with companionship, laughter, creativity and a wonderful variety of activities.
We started the day with refreshments and our usual group discussion, with our topic being This Day in History. We discovered that today would have been the birthday of the legendary Kenny Rogers, who was born on 21st August 1938. Naturally, this led to some reminiscing about his music, and several of our members remembered his famous duet with Dolly Parton, Islands in the Stream. But do you know who wrote the song?
There was plenty of fun and friendly competition too, with giant snakes and ladders and our pre-planned activity, picture card bingo. Congratulations to all our winners!
Although summer is still going strong, we turned our thoughts towards the next season with some relaxing and mindful autumn-themed colouring. It was a lovely opportunity to slow down, concentrate and enjoy some peaceful creativity.

After lunch we settled down for our afternoon activities......
Our creativity really came to life as we painted birdhouses, while some of our members took on the challenge of painting by numbers. There was plenty of concentration, imagination and a great sense of achievement as everyone worked on their creations.
All in all, it was another wonderful day at The Willows — full of friendship, fun, memories, creativity and, as always, wonderful companionship.
It may have been a small group at The Willows today, but that certainly didn’t stop us from having a big amount of fun!
We enjoyed a fantastic variety of activities, including Bendominos, Snap, Giant Snakes & Ladders, Shut the Box and Card Bingo. We also had lots of fun with our feely bag activity, using our sense of touch to feel different objects and see if we could identify what they were. A great activity for encouraging concentration, communication and a little bit of friendly competition!
There was plenty of laughter, conversation and encouragement as we enjoyed each activity together.
We also had an important job to do — sorting out some magnificent prizes for the raffle at our Summer Get-Together this Saturday! There are some fantastic prizes to look forward to, so we’re sure it’s going to be a wonderful afternoon of fun, friendship and celebration.
Another lovely day at The Willows, proving that it’s not the size of the group that matters, but the smiles, laughter and enjoyment we share together!

We will make sure we have shade from the sun, and will have drinks and cake for all.
We will be entertained by the lovely Phil & Den- bringing music from the 60s, 70s & more.
There will be a raffle & we have some lovely prizes.

A Tremendous Tuesday at The Willows
There’s nothing quite like having all our friends together, enjoying one another’s company, sharing laughter and making memories along the way.
We had a fantastic selection of activities today, with something for everyone to enjoy. We spent time completing jigsaw puzzles, colouring, and exploring our magazines during a fun Magazine Safari. Our Picture This game brought lots of reminiscing and sparked some wonderful conversations as memories came flooding back.
There was plenty of fun and friendly competition too, with table skittles, dominoes and our peg memory game keeping everyone entertained and involved.
But, as always, it’s the friendship and fellowship that make our days at The Willows so special. Lots of smiles, laughter, conversation and encouragement made for another truly wonderful day spent together. 💕

Magic Monday...
There was so much to participate in at the Willows.:
The morning began with a target general knowledge quiz, followed by 'horse racing'.....
Our Activities planner had Escalado for today which is a horse racing game, but we decided to do a different sort of horse racing! We took turns to sit on chairs two at a time, holding our inflatable horses and scooting a line of newspaper under the chair with our feet. This was very energetic and the winners of each pair raced one another until our overall winner was Ray.
Other activities today Included Qwirkle, Bendominos, dominos, card bingo, ludo and entertainment memory joggers.
Ray also finished painting the bird house he had built.
