Dementia Environment
We carefully design our care home environment for those living with dementia, ensuring the layout is beneficial to our resident's mental health and wellbeing. Avante Care & Support is committed to delivering the principles of dementia care outlined by Sterling University, a world leader in the design of services and environments for people with dementia.
Our social area layout mimics a domestic environment, helping residents link with memories of their own homes. We ensure our residents can move freely within their suite, removing visual or physical barriers. We also feature quiet spaces for residents feeling anxious or confused, where our team can accompany residents in these spaces, offering support.
