Care Home in Plumstead
Puddingstone Grange is a purpose-built and modern care facility and offers full-time specialist residential, dementia and nursing care in Plumstead. The modern design provides beautifully decorated and bright en suite bedrooms, large lounges for residents to socialise or relax and communal dining areas for residents to enjoy a pleasurable daily dining experience. All meals are nutritionally balanced, freshly prepared and cooked at the home and the catering team are always on hand to meet any dietary requirements or requests.
Puddingstone Grange also has a stylish hair and beauty salon for residents to treat themselves to a little pampering and relaxation. There are communal tablets available for residents wanting to browse the internet or communicate with loved ones through email or video.
There’s a daily programme of activities at Puddingstone Grange for residents to partake if they wish and the minibus allows residents the opportunity for day trips to places of local interest.
At the heart of Puddingstone Grange is our philosophy of care, the Eden Alternative (Awarded Gold), where staff encourage social interaction, engagement and work towards the eradication of loneliness and boredom.
All laundry is included and managed by the homes domestic team but should residents wish to continue independently with daily tasks such as cleaning and laundry there’s always practical support available from staff to do so.
To the back of the home you will find pretty gardens for residents to while away a sunny afternoon – these include a sensory garden created from residents suggestions, there is also a quiet area in the garden where residents can catch a moment to reflect or pray. There is also a visitor cabin available for families to use to meet their loved ones safely in a warm, friendly and Covid-19 compliant environment.
Puddingstone Grange offers a respite care service that gives family carers or caregivers the chance to have a break from caring, go on holiday or simply have some well-earned time off.

Reception
Our Reception is always staffed by a friendly receptionist who is there to welcome and assist you with any enquiries you may have. The reception is bright and has a warm atmosphere.
Lobby Lounge
Our lobby lounge offers a spacious and welcoming atmosphere and is available for meeting up, making arrangements or relaxing.
Kitchenettes
Throughout the home we have open kitchenettes located near dining and lounge areas, allowing residents to make their own drinks and snacks. They provide a more familiar setting and a great social area for activities.
Garden
We have a large well maintained garden which includes a lovely brand new sensory area. Our garden has many areas from hard paved patio areas to more tranquil grassed areas. The garden has many plants and shrubs and we encourage our residents to join in our many gardening activities.
Lounge Areas
Our lounge offers our residents and families of residents a place to relax and socialise in whatever their mood.
Dining Rooms
We have a large dinning area on each of our suites that provide nutritious, hydrating and comforting food. Our restaurant areas also are a place for people to gather and socialise.
Ensuite Bedrooms
We have bright en-suite bedrooms in Puddingstone Grange which lead onto a separate bathroom area. The rooms can be personalised by residents with items and their own furniture.
Salon
We have an onsite salon and therapy room with many treatments available including hairdressing, nail manicures, and also other wellbeing treatments.

It was an interesting session trying to find countries that began with each letter of the alphabet. The worrying thing was that one resident knew more than most of us. It was nice to see residents involved and my sister Grace joined in with a little singing at the end. Thanks for the coffee and biscuits.

As the rainy weather fell outside ,we brought our gardening activities inside and added some little touches.
