New Care Home in West Malling Reaches Major Milestone Ahead of Opening
Malling Grange achieves Practical Completion as residents prepare to move into their new home
Avante Care & Support is celebrating a major milestone in the development of its newest care home, Malling Grange, following the achievement of Practical Completion on 25 September.
The milestone brings Malling Grange one step closer to welcoming residents and colleagues from Pilgrims View, alongside new residents from the local community, into the purpose-built home later this year.
The achievement marks the culmination of years of planning, collaboration and dedication between Avante Care & Support and project partners Barcroft Estates, Lawrence Baker, Fed 3 Projects and Lawson Queay.
To mark the occasion, the keys to Malling Grange were formally presented to Home Manager, Jo Hartnup, by Jason Tucker, Contracts Manager at Lawrence Baker Ltd, marking the beginning of the final phase of preparations ahead of the home's opening.
For residents of Pilgrims View in Snodland, the milestone is particularly meaningful. Residents have followed the development of their new home throughout the project, sharing in the excitement of its progress and recently coming together with families and colleagues for a farewell celebration ahead of their move.
With the interior fit-out now underway, Malling Grange moves a step closer to welcoming its first residents and beginning an exciting new chapter for those who will call it home.
