Weybourne Care Home in Abbey Wood Rated Good by CQC
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) recently visited Weybourne Care Home in Abbey Wood for a routine inspection.
The inspection focused on the five key lines of enquiry: safety, effectiveness, caring, responsiveness and leadership. Following the two-day visit, all five areas were rated as Good, giving the home an overall rating of Good.
The staff at Weybourne create a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere, always placing the health and wellbeing of residents at the heart of everything they do. The team of qualified and attentive staff provide residential and dementia care, with a strong focus on meeting each resident’s individual needs.

The recent inspection highlights the compassionate and kind care delivered at Weybourne, with families expressing how safe and well cared for their loved ones feel. The report reflects a positive culture centred on person-centred care, meeting people’s needs and ensuring residents enjoy a fulfilling experience.
One family member shared: “It’s been absolutely amazing, they have been given such good care and it has enhanced their life in such a positive way. My loved one has exceeded the doctors’ expectations thanks to the good care received. It’s outstanding, I have been blown away.”
