Local MP Daniel Francis, champions community connection with visits to Parkview Care Home
Residents and staff at Parkview care home were delighted to welcome Daniel Francis, MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford constituency, on two occasions in 2025.
Local MP Daniel Francis first visited Parkview Care Home during the summer, following an invitation extended as part of the home’s ongoing community links initiative. The visit included an Afternoon Tea with residents, allowing the MP the opportunity to meet and spend time with his constituents who live at Parkview.
He was joined on this occasion by Stuart Cross, Managing Director at Avante Care & Support, and staff members from Parkview. Meaningful conversations took place throughout the visit around residents’ experiences and life at the home.

Building on the success of that visit, Daniel Francis was invited back to Parkview during the festive season. He chose to join the home’s fundraising Christmas party, held on Friday 19 December, where Daniel spent the afternoon engaging with residents, families, and staff.
MP Daniel Francis took time throughout the afternoon to speak with residents, enjoy the music, and fully immerse himself in the celebrations. Reflecting on the visit, he shared on his official webpage:
“A huge thank you to Parkview Care Home for the invite to your Christmas party. I had a great time catching up with staff, residents and their families. The music was fantastic and it was good to see everyone enjoying themselves. The staff are absolutely fantastic and the families are so complimentary about them.”

Parkview Care Home places great importance on being an active and visible part of the local community, both visits provided valuable opportunities for residents to connect with their local MP and for Daniel Francis to see first-hand the dedication of the Parkview care team and the vibrant community within the home.
