Barnes Lodge Residents Enjoy a Winning Day at Lingfield Races
A Day at the Races
Residents Pat, Alan, Doug, June, Ged and Christine enjoyed a fantastic day out at Lingfield Park Racecourse, accompanied by members of the Barnes Lodge team, including Sam Barton, Charlotte Pett and Aleisha King.
From the moment the group arrived, there was a great atmosphere as everyone settled in and prepared for an exciting day of racing. Residents enjoyed watching the action on the track, choosing which horses to support and cheering them on as they raced towards the finish line.
Of course, a day at the races wouldn’t be complete without a little friendly competition. There were a few winning bets to celebrate and a few that didn’t quite go to plan, all adding to the fun and excitement of the occasion.

Cheers, Treats and a Little Friendly Competition
Between races, the group relaxed over drinks and treated themselves to ice cream while enjoying the lively surroundings and spending quality time away from home.
Days out such as this are an important part of life at Barnes Lodge, giving residents opportunities to continue enjoying their interests, visit different places and share meaningful experiences with friends and members of the team.
Most importantly, everyone had a wonderful time and returned to Barnes Lodge with plenty to talk about and some great memories from their day at the races.
