Our residents had a wonderful time getting creative and spreading holiday cheer by making beautiful wreaths! Wreath-making is a fantastic activity as it combines sensory experiences, fine motor skills, and social interaction. It was a joy to watch them choose decorations, weave the greenery, and add their personal touch.

Since the beginning of December our residents and team have been busy behind the scenes competing in some festive and fun competitions. Yesterday we had the pleasure of being joined by Rory our Regional Manager and Sj our Director of Care for some festive judging.
Also thank you to Richard from our Health and safety Team for taking time out his schedule to join in on the fun 😊
Our residents and staff have all enjoyed bringing Christmas to Pilgrims View. The categories were :
Best Decorated Unit - completed by Residents and Staff
Best table decoration - completed by our day and night Seniors
Best Ginger Bread House - Completed by our residents
Best Christmas Grotto - completed by our house keeping team being split into groups
Best Decorated Christmas Cake- Completed by our Kitchen Team ( they've waited patiently for yesterday after making and feeding their Christmas cakes back in October)
Best Decorated table - Completed by our Home Manager, Deputy Manager, Maintenance Tech and Home Administrator.

It was a pleasure to judge. What I was inspired about was the passion of the staff to make Christmas so special. Each unit had involved residents to help decorate, and produce personalised Christmas items to display. I felt staff went the extra mile to really make it a Christmas to remember. Well done to each and every one of you, I’m so proud of you all. SJ
