Avante Care & Support is thrilled to announce that Hilary Bunker, a dedicated volunteer at Weybourne care home, was honoured at the prestigious Volunteers of Abbeywood awards on the 12th September.
Hilary, who has generously given over 18 months of her time and commitment to supporting the Weybourne community, was discreetly nominated by Robert Howe Activity Coordinator, one of her colleagues, in recognition of her exceptional service.
“This award highlights Hilary’s invaluable contributions, selflessness, and tireless dedication to improving the lives of residents at Weybourne. Whether it’s through her compassionate presence or her unwavering support, Hilary has made a profound impact on residents at Weybourne”.

The award ceremony took place at C2K Youth and Community centre on Penmon Road. In addition to the awards presentation, attendees enjoyed refreshments and viewed the incredible work by young people with the organisation’s commissioned services.
