On December 4th, 2023, Avante Care & Support proudly acquired Barnes Lodge, a modern purpose built nursing and dementia care home located in Tudeley Lane, Tonbridge. This marks a significant milestone as Barnes Lodge becomes the 11th care home to join Avante’s esteemed portfolio.
The acquisition underlines Avante’s commitment to providing exceptional care and homecare support services throughout Kent and the two London boroughs of Bexley & Greenwich. Barnes Lodge is poised to enhance Avante’s ability to deliver specialised residential, dementia and nursing services to the Tonbridge community.
Avante Care & Support is a not for profit charitable organisation that has provided care to older people for over 30 years. Avante cares for over 1,000 people through its residential care homes and home care support service.
In addition to Barnes Lodge, Avante Care & Support proudly welcomes Caring Companions into its family. Caring Companions will now be an integral part of Avante’s Home Care & Support service, extending its reach to Gravesend, Tonbridge, and surrounding areas. This expansion broadens the scope of Avante’s home care and wellbeing support services, ensuring that individuals in these regions receive the highest standards of care in the comfort of their homes.
