Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive, self-motivated and experienced nurse to provide clinical and professional nursing leadership to the nursing and care team.

We are looking to appoint a dynamic and skilled individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide visible, hands-on nursing leadership, with an understanding of the issues and challenges associated with delivering nursing care in a residential care home environment. The role holder will have overall responsibility for the continuing assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of person-centred care.

You must be a solution-oriented role model who is passionate about delivering high standards of person-centred care; ensuring residents receive a positive experience in partnership with the multi-disciplinary team. It is essential that you have the skills required to support and partner with residents, families, carers, nurses and the wider multi-disciplinary team. You must also demonstrate excellent organisational skills and have robust understanding of change management processes. You must be forward thinking and be open to developing and progressing new ideas and innovative ways of working.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (NMC pin)
  • Experience of working in a hospital
  • Strong care planning (documentation) experience
  • Evidence of current CPD
  • Demonstrable leadership skills
