Individuals living with limited mobility or ill health can often struggle with their personal hygiene. Whether you or your loved one lives alone, or with a partner who is unable to help with the day-to-day routine, we at Avante Care & Support can help.
What is personal care?
Personal care refers to anything that is personal to the individual needing assistance. From bathing, showering and dressing to meal preparation and feeding, anything that enables you to live in comfort at home is covered by our experienced carers. We believe that working to your regular routines is important, which is why our team will endeavour to be with you at the same time each day. You’ll see the same faces too, so you can build a trusting relationship with the carers that come to help you out.
Personal care options
As with all the services offered by Avante Care & Support, we’ll tailor your personal care to suit your needs. Perhaps you like to get showered before breakfast or take a bath and brush your teeth immediately after dinner so that you can relax in the evening. Whatever your regular schedule, we’ll help you maintain it so you can enjoy the rest of your day as you choose. You also have the option of a visiting carer, who pops in once or twice a day, or a carer who lives at home with you to provide assistance whenever you need it, including overnight support.
You may need additional support throughout the day, from help with gardening to assistance with household chores. Our carers are fully trained to provide a range of home care services, and can even help you keep track of your medications.
