"Well done and thank you to Avante Care & Support for investing in the café for residents, families, staff and the local community to enjoy. Seeing this investment is absolutely fantastic and it’s lovely to be back here with you all at Northbourne Court for this wonderful new café opening. I hope you all enjoy and make use of the new area in the months to come".
James and resident Nellie then went on to officially open the café by cutting the ribbon into the new cafe area.
Throughput the afternoon residents and staff had the opportunity to speak with James whilst enjoying some of the culinary delights the homes catering team provided for the celebrations, including beautiful homemade mince pies, mulled wine and gateaux.
