Our Professional Management Team is responsible for the wellbeing and care of the services provided by Avante Care & Support. Each member brings to Avante Care & Support a wealth of experience.

Angela Johnson, Community Services Director

Angela has worked in the health and social care setting for 14 years. She began her career working in a residential setting for children and young people with complex needs. She joined Avante Care & Support in 2002 and has worked in different roles within the organisation. These have included Operations Manager in Stepahead Support and Business Development Manager for Avante Care & Support. She is now the Director for Home Care and Support Services.Angela has a BSC (Hons) Degree in Psychology, is a member of the British Psychological Society and holds a Level 5 Diploma in Management Studies.

Jane Kingsmill, Regional Care Director

Jane has worked in the health and social care setting for 32 years. She began her career working in a residential setting for children and adults with learning disabilities. Her other social care experience has included working with young adults who are coping with Autism, Asperger’s and also families affected by sexual abuse. Jane joined Avante Care & Support in 2000 and has worked in varying roles within the organisation. These have included her work as a Registered Home Manager, Service Development Manager and now the Regional Care Director for our Kent Homes. She is passionate about delivering quality care across our services and promoting choice and independence for each individual.

Judith Knight, Regional Care Director

Judith was educated in Maidstone Kent. In 1986 she began her career in Retail for a large UK food provider where she established a proven track record in Operations Management & Customer Service. Judith joined the care sector in 2008. She has worked as a Registered Home Manager in Elderly Nursing and Dementia homes across the South East. In 2011 she was appointed to the position of Operations Manager for a UK based Domiciliary care provider. This was followed by an appointment in 2014 as an Area manager, working for a Charity based healthcare provider in London.Judith joined us in April 2017 as the Regional Care Director for our London Care Homes. Her primary motivation is to deliver services which are of a high standard, promoting person centred care to meet and exceed customer expectations.
