About Us

We are an established charity and our residential care services are known as Avante Care and Support. We operate care homes throughout East Kent, West Kent, Medway, Bexley and the London Borough of Greenwich. We have built a reputation for providing a range of quality care services to people in need within local communities, with a particular specialism in providing dementia care.

Our Aims

We aim at all times to achieve compliance with the Care Quality Commission’s Guidance about Compliance: Essential Standards of Quality and Safety and consumer legislation. Our philosophy and aims and how we provide our services are fully explained in Our Statement of Purpose which is available on this website or by request.

Bookings

Bookings must be made on www.avantecare.org.uk either by the clients themselves or assisted by the home.

With My Time you can now book a variety of times and services that suit your friend or relative; a 2 hour respite break, a whole day with lunch and dinner – please note that if you are in need of overnight stays you MUST contact the home subject to availability.

Any bookings that extend beyond the regular ‘My Time’ hours will be classed as a long term respite care and can be booked over the phone or at the home concerned at a more cost effective rate due to the longer commitment of the booking. You can however book multiple days but these would not include overnight stays. Depending on which combination of products you choose to book, your terms and conditions could vary.

The following details the different types of products available and the applicable terms and conditions:

Short term day visit, minimum of 2 hour length visits
Short term day visit, minimum of 2 hour length visits with lunch or dinner booking
Day and Evening visit with lunch
Day and Evening visit with lunch and dinner
Evening visit
Evening visit with dinner
Build Your Own (“BYO”) respite service

This is a ‘build your own’ facility that allows you to select, assemble and arrange the individual services you want from the My Time service. As My Time,  it is a “shopping basket” you can add or remove My Time product components before booking and you will only be charged for what you book.

Fees

All Fees must be paid and received prior to the My Time booking. If bookings are made on www.avantecare.org.uk all payments can be made by credit or debit card. If bookings are made by the home on behalf of the client payment can be made via Debit/Credit card, cheque or cash.

Cancellation / Refunds

Cancellations must be received with at least 24 hours notice prior to the My Time booking. If less than 24 hours notice is received the client will receive a refund of 50% of the My Time booking fee paid for the cancellation in question. If more than 24 hours notice is received of cancellation the client will receive a full refund. If the cancellation of the booking is due to death of the proposed customer using the My Time service a full refund will be given at any given time.

Complaints

We strive to provide the most professional caring service for your loved one. If, for whatever reason, you aren’t happy with our service please contact the Care Home Manager in the first instance to enable us to address your issues and resolve any concerns that you have. This must be done as soon as you feel that there is a problem and we will work to resolve it as soon as we can. In exceptional circumstances, if you need to raise a complaint after a session has been completed, this should be done within 5 working days to enable us to quickly respond.

Intellectual Property Rights

All copyrights, trademarks, patents and other intellectual property rights in and on our website and all content and software located on the site shall remain the sole property of Avante Care & Support Ltd or its licensor’s. The use of our trademarks, content and intellectual property is forbidden without the express written consent from Avante Care & Support Ltd.

You must not sell or rent material from our website or create derivative, copy or otherwise exploit material on our website for any purpose.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes, and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict or inhibit anyone else’s use and enjoyment of the website. Prohibited behaviour includes harassing or causing distress or inconvenience to any other user, transmitting obscene or offensive content or disrupting the normal flow of dialogue within our website.

You must not use our website to send unsolicited commercial communications. You must not use the content on our website for any marketing related purpose without our express written consent.

Restricted Access

We may in the future need to restrict access to parts (or all) of our website and reserve full rights to do so. If, at any point, we provide you with a username and password for you to access restricted areas of our website, you must ensure that both your username and password are kept confidential.

Revisions

Avante Partnership Ltd may change these terms from time to time and so you should check these terms regularly. Your continued use of our website will be deemed acceptance of the updated or amended terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you should cease using our website immediately.

If any of these terms are determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable, it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and the remaining terms shall survive and continue to be binding and enforceable.

Limitation of Liability

THE MATERIALS AT THIS SITE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF ANY KIND INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, NONINFRINGEMENT OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY, OR FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN NO EVENT SHALL AVANTE CARE & SUPPORT LTD OR ITS AGENTS OR OFFICERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF INFORMATION, INJURY OR DEATH) ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE MATERIALS, EVEN IF AVANTE CARE & SUPPORT HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH LOSS OR DAMAGES.
