Our nursing wing Drummond, contains 16 beds with a team of dedicated qualified Registered Nurses and Health Care Assistants, along with all the right equipment to ensure our Service Users receive the very best care and support.
Lead by a qualified, dedicated and experienced management team, we employ a Registered Manager and a Registered Nurse Manager, having many years of experience in care and clinical roles with older people. All of our staff receive comprehensive ongoing training, ensuring we provide the very highest quality care.
Staff are always available to explain to relatives and friends the changes to Services Users conditions on the dementia journey, during their stay as dementia is often a complex concerning condition for friends and relatives.
One of the most important aspects of our care we encourage is a relationship approach with families and others that are involved in the life of the Service User. Family and friends are very much involved in suggestions for the overall day to day care we deliver at Puddingstone Grange.
The starting point for any new and prospective Service User is a comprehensive assessment, helping us to provide the very best care and support.
From the assessment we can determine the care needs of the Service User. All our Service users have a detailed Care Plan created, that recognises the persons needs and is influenced by the individual, their history and lifestyle, along with relatives and whoever else supports them.
